Purple Mountain:
Uniting Queer Voices from Across the Globe
Dear Friends,
For months, we’ve been tirelessly fundraising for our dream project, Chapel of Love and in just a few short weeks, inch'Allah, we will finally come together at the Purple Mountain Artist Residency in South Africa. There, we will unite queer filmmakers, healers, and activists from the Global South and beyond. Together, we’ll create something extraordinary: the first film from the anthology exploring queer spirituality, love, and identity.
Your unwavering support has brought us closer to this milestone, but we still need your help to make it happen.

🎬 Under the Radar Screening: Save the Date! 🎬
February 2025 Our next in-person screening will showcase works from the Cinema Feast Collection—a selection of shorts by queer filmmakers from the Global South living in oppressive regimes. While we can’t reveal too much just yet, rest assured that it will be an unforgettable evening. This event’s proceeds will directly aid our Tunisian members and friends who are in exile and at risk of deportation.
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates. Create a new account on our website to be the first to know the location and date.

Help Us Share the Love
If you’re traveling to Tanzania, Dubai, Zimbabwe, Ghana, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Germany, Sweden, Paris, or London, let us know! We have equipment, books, and gifts that need to be transported to our members. You can also give new life to your old devices by turning them into powerful tools for freedom of expression. Upcycle them to empower disenfranchised voices, helping others connect, learn, and thrive—don’t let those devices collect dust!
Recently, a new friend traveling to Ghana delivered essential items, including equipment, gifts, and books by Unoma Azuah. These books, also available at Agenda Coop, are fostering connections and spreading joy, helping the 75 SHOTS family grow stronger.
Thank You to Our Supporters
Thank you for your ongoing support! Together, we are uplifting the voices of queer artists around the world and creating space for under-represented stories to be told. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to get involved or have any questions.
With immense gratitude,
One love
The 75 SHOTS Pocket Cinema Family
